Forth World War One Lesson

In yesterdays lesson we kind of had a taste of what it would be like to be in musical theatre as we started the lesson with learning how to waltz, at first i found it quite difficult as i have two left feet but after a while i managed to just about get the hang of it.

we then did singing where we where signing an old war song that i think soldiers would of song as like a fun song when they were drunk or having a celebration, i enjoyed doing this as i didnt know the song and it was fun to learn it.

We ended the lesson by separating into two groups, some people went with Miss Goodall to do break dancing and the rest of us created short physical theatre pieces that will be shown while are parents are walking around.

Third World War One Lesson

Today we had a talk from the head of theatre about the interview process for getting back into past 16, I was actually happy when we where told that we will be performing a shake spear monologue as part of the process as i love shake spear. I was also surprised at the number of people accepted to theatre strand in 6th form as i thought it would be a lot more.

For the rest of the theatre periods we practised, performed and talked in a group about our one minute physical theatre pieces and our stimulus was world war one. i really enjoyed watching everyone else's as it was interesting to see what each person developed when given the exercise. I really enjoyed Ben and Ella s as you could see the effort and thought they had put into there's to make sure they were in sync and everything flowed, which it did.
